Values
We respect and value God's Eternal conditional and unconditional covenants with the people of Israel:
God's covenants with His people will remain valid as long as the Universe and the laws of nature exist:
" ...This is what the LORD says, He who appoints the sun to shine by day, who decrees the moon and stars to shine by night, who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar- the LORD Almighty is his name: "Only if these decrees vanish from My sight," declares the LORD, "will the descendants of Israel ever cease to be a nation before Me..." This is what the LORD says: "...Only if the heavens above can be measured and the foundations of the earth below be searched out will I reject all the descendants of Israel because of all they have done," declares the LORD..." (Jeremiah 31:35-37)
God made eternal covenants with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and with Israel, their descendants. When God makes an oath, it is absolutely trustworthy. And He made a solemn oath to Abraham (Genesis 12:1-9 and 17:3-8) and Isaac (Genesis 26:2-5) and Jacob (Genesis 28:13-15 and 35:9-12) and an eternal covenant with Israel when He said, "...To you I will give the land of Canaan as the portion you will inherit...''
What does the word eternal mean? Eternal means everlasting, forever.
This means that God's eternal covenants with Israel are still valid today.
